“The Grill is the rooftop restaurant of the Saga Hotel. From that location the view is stunning, looking out not only onto the university area but also beyond over all of Reykjavik. The Grill has recently stepped up its marketing efforts and, in my opinion, become one of the three most impressive restaurants in the country. The Grill offers especially good seafood dishes made from fresh ingredients. The Icelandic game (reindeer and mountain lamb) is particularly delicious as well. I have enjoyed The Grill most when ordering the Chef’s Surprise, a creation from the chef’s own mind.
